Quick Summary

Roblox's biggest Halloween event yet, The Hollow, is live now through November 2, 2026. Here's the official schedule, how the shared survival hub works, and all nine crossover monsters pulled from games like DOORS, Piggy and Dandy's World.

Roblox has kicked off its biggest Halloween event yet. The Hollow is a platform-wide survival event that pulls characters from nine of Roblox's most popular horror games into one shared haunted hub, with a brand-new monster joining the chase every day. Here's everything officially confirmed about dates, how the event works, which games are involved, and what players get for surviving.

1. What Is The Hollow?

The Hollow is Roblox's 2026 Halloween event, announced on the official Roblox newsroom on October 21, 2026. Unlike a single-game seasonal update, it's a shared, continuous survival experience set in a central hub called the Hollow, which Roblox says "grows increasingly unsettling as the event progresses." Rather than building one new horror game from scratch, Roblox crossed over nine existing community-made horror titles, bringing one signature monster from each into the same map.

The event is open to anyone with a Roblox Select or Roblox account, and is aimed at players ages 9 and older in most regions, though Roblox notes that "ages and access will vary by region."

2. Why This Event Is a Bigger Deal Than a Normal Seasonal Update

Roblox regularly adds seasonal content to individual games, but The Hollow is different in scale: it's a single, official platform-wide event that pulls characters out of nine separate, independently developed experiences and places them into one shared location that Roblox itself built and operates. That makes it one of the platform's largest coordinated crossovers to date, in the same spirit as the Hunt: Roblox 20 anniversary event that ran across the platform earlier in 2026, though The Hollow is themed entirely around horror rather than Roblox's full back catalog.

It also means the event's difficulty and content are designed by Roblox centrally rather than by the individual studios behind DOORS, Piggy or the other seven games — those studios' monsters are being used as guest characters inside Roblox's own hub, not inside updates to their original games.

3. The Hollow Dates and Times

Roblox has confirmed the following schedule for The Hollow:

  • Start: Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 2 p.m. PT, when the Hollow hub opened to all players.
  • Roblox Plus early access: Noon PT on October 22, an hour before general access.
  • New monster each day: A different monster enters the hub daily across the nine-day run.
  • Live finale: A live, all-player finale begins the morning of October 31.
  • End: The event runs through November 2, 2026, with reward collection open until noon PT that day.

Because the rollout is staggered, players who log in later in the run will find more monsters already active in the hub than those who joined on day one.

4. How the Survival Event Works

Each day in the Hollow, players face a new maze layered on top of the hub. The core loop is the same every night: explore the maze, search for clues, complete quests, and avoid getting caught by that day's monster. Successfully completing quests earns exclusive user-generated content (UGC) items and other rewards that Roblox says help players "survive another night" as the hub gets harder.

Because the event is shared and platform-wide rather than tied to a single title, players don't need to own or have previously played any of the nine source games to take part — the Hollow hub is the only place the crossover content exists. Since a new monster joins every day for nine days, the hub itself effectively grows more dangerous the longer the event runs, with players who return daily facing a stacked roster of threats by the time the October 31 finale arrives, rather than just that day's newest arrival.

Roblox has not published a full breakdown of individual quest objectives for each day, so specific step-by-step solutions aren't available yet; players should expect the quest list to be revealed day-by-day as each monster is introduced.

5. All Nine Monsters and Their Source Games

Roblox confirmed the full roster of monsters making an appearance, each pulled from a different horror experience on the platform:

  • The Deer — from 99 Nights in the Forest
  • Seek — from DOORS
  • Twisted Dandy — from Dandy's World
  • Piggy — from Piggy
  • The Inspector — from Scary Shawarma Kiosk
  • Mimic — from Animal Hospital
  • Biter — from Demonology
  • Hiachi — from The Mimic
  • The Overseer — from Warden

Several of these games — DOORS, Piggy and The Mimic in particular — are among the most-visited horror experiences in Roblox's history, so seeing their signature antagonists cross over into one hub is a notable crossover moment for the platform, comparable in scale to the platform-wide 20th-anniversary Hunt event Roblox ran earlier this year.

6. Roblox Plus Perks During The Hollow

Subscribers to Roblox Plus — the platform's premium membership, which recently saw changes to how its private servers work — get several extras during the event:

  • Early access to the Hollow hub, one hour before the general player base on October 22.
  • An exclusive profile frame and background, which stay on the account permanently after the event ends.
  • An exclusive item launcher, letting Plus members gift items to other players during the event.
  • The ability to keep the event's visual theme on their profile beyond the finale.

7. Creator Livestreams

Roblox is running daily creator livestreams from inside the Hollow for the length of the event. According to the official announcement, creator champions including LimaMosca, KreekCraft, Bundun and SirDapper are playing through the hub live each day, uncovering clues and helping viewers figure out how to survive each new monster. For players who want hints before trying the maze themselves, catching one of these streams on the day a new monster debuts is the most direct way to see its mechanics in action ahead of time.

8. Limited-Time Marketplace Items

Alongside the event itself, Roblox has added limited-time Halloween items to the Marketplace, including a Hollow Horseman item, dozens of other exclusive avatar accessories, and new seasonal makeup looks for avatars. These are cosmetic additions separate from the UGC rewards earned by completing in-hub quests, meaning players have two parallel ways to pick up Halloween-themed gear this year: buying directly from the Marketplace, or earning event-exclusive items by clearing the Hollow's daily quests.

9. Halloween Content for Younger Players

The Hollow itself is aimed at players nine and older, but Roblox has paired it with separate, lighter Halloween content for younger age groups:

  • Family Zone's Duck Duck Halloween crossover — parents and kids search for hidden ducks in costumes while the experience teaches online-safety concepts.
  • Adopt Me!'s Hauntlet minigame — the returning Halloween minigame is back with new rewards and pets.
  • Welcome to Bloxburg's Pumpkin Panic and Ghost Hunt — seasonal minigames offering both personal and group rewards.

Roblox is also selling a physical Roblox Mini Pack at Target for $20, containing 40 physical coins that each redeem for 50 Robux.

10. Quick Tips for Getting the Most Out of The Hollow

  • Log in daily if possible — quests and the monster lineup refresh each day, and missing days means missing that day's specific rewards.
  • Roblox Plus members should claim early hub access as soon as it opens at noon PT on October 22 to get a head start on quests.
  • Don't skip the October 31 live finale — Roblox has framed it as an all-player event distinct from the regular daily rotation.
  • Rewards can still be collected after the finale, but only until noon PT on November 2, so don't wait until the last day to clear outstanding quests.
  • None of the nine source games need to be installed or played separately — everything happens inside the shared Hollow hub.
