Fortnite Treasure Hunters: Every Captain, Captain's Days Date and the Full November Schedule Explained
Fortnite's Treasure Hunters event is live, and Epic has confirmed a packed November schedule: every weekly captain (including a surprise Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto crossover), the full Captain's Days and Item Shop dates, and the Battle Pass details.
Fortnite's new Treasure Hunters event went live on November 1, and Epic has already laid out a packed schedule of captain arrivals, Shop drops, and in-map events running through the first weeks of November. If you want to know exactly who's showing up and when, rather than just the headline One Piece crossover, here is every confirmed date straight from Epic's own announcement.
1. What Is Fortnite Treasure Hunters?
Treasure Hunters is Epic's new Battle Royale event built around a One Piece crossover and a rotating cast of weekly "captains." It launched November 1 alongside a new 80-player map called Crossbones Isle, where players can visit locations lifted from the anime, including Arlong Park and Windmill Village. For a full breakdown of the island layout and the One Piece powers available there, see our Crossbones Isle map guide. This article focuses on the part players keep asking about: the full captain lineup and the exact dates everything unlocks.
Epic's own framing sums up the hook well: "a new captain arrives in Battle Royale with their own crew and POI" every week, and each captain hides new treasure, including "what's inside Captain X's mega chest." That weekly rotation is the backbone of the whole season, so knowing the schedule matters more than usual.
2. Every Confirmed Captain and When They Arrive
Epic has confirmed the captain order through mid-November. The lineup mixes One Piece characters with real-world musicians and, more unexpectedly, two Vocaloid characters:
- The Straw Hats and A$AP Rocky — the first captains, live from Season launch on November 1.
- Lil Uzi Vert — confirmed as the next captain after launch week.
- Cap'n Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto — both confirmed as upcoming captains, arriving in the Shop on November 14.
Epic has not published captain POIs or crew details beyond A$AP Rocky's battleship as of this writing, so treat anything about Lil Uzi Vert's, Miku's, or Teto's in-game POIs as unconfirmed until Epic posts it.
The Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto announcement stands out even by Fortnite's crossover standards — it's the first time either Vocaloid character has been confirmed as a captain-tier addition to a Battle Royale season, alongside a hip-hop artist and a legacy anime cast. Treasure Hunters is leaning harder into mixing unrelated franchises together than most past seasons, which is worth knowing going in if you're deciding which weeks to prioritize logging in for.
3. Captain's Days: The Full Schedule
Separate from the Shop rotation, Epic is running recurring in-map events called Captain's Days, when "all-new weapons, Sprites, and more drop on the map." According to Epic's announcement, Captain's Days are scheduled for:
- November 1 at 9 AM ET (Season launch)
- November 7
- November 12
- November 14
- November 21
Epic hasn't published start times for the later dates beyond the November 1 kickoff, so check the in-game News tab closer to each date for exact timing. Since new Sprites are part of each drop, it's worth brushing up on how the Sprite system itself works — our Sprites leveling and Mastery guide covers how to get the most value out of what Captain's Days adds to the map.
4. Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours
Alongside Captain's Days, Epic confirmed two other recurring beats that run for the entire season: Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours on Sundays. Epic's post states plainly that "Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours Sundays will run throughout the Season," though it stops short of detailing exact rewards for either beyond the general treasure-hunting theme. Expect these to be the most reliable weekly windows to log in if you're chasing Sprite Mastery progress or bonus loot, since they repeat every week rather than being one-off dates like the Shop drops.
5. A$AP Rocky's Battleship and the Shock Rocket
A$AP Rocky's captain debut comes with its own POI: the $.$. Rocky, a battleship players can board directly. Epic describes it as a spot where you can "rain rockets from above with A$AP Rocky's Shock Rocket," making it both a landmark and a new weapon source on Crossbones Isle.
6. The Treasure Hunters Battle Pass
This season's Battle Pass features two headline One Piece characters: Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin. Epic is also running a gifting incentive — if you gift the Battle Pass to a friend, both of you receive a bonus Dark Kawaii Team Leader Outfit style, on top of whatever the Pass itself includes. Epic hasn't published the full tier list or cosmetic breakdown beyond the two headline skins, so the rest of the Pass contents remain to be seen in-game.
7. Item Shop Release Schedule
The Shop rotation runs on its own calendar, separate from the captain and Captain's Days schedule, and Epic has confirmed specific dates well into November:
- November 1 (Season launch): Luffy, Nami, and Usopp
- November 5, 7 PM ET: A$AP Rocky
- November 7: Zoro, Sanji, and the Chopper Sidekick
- November 12: Lil Uzi Vert
- November 14: Kasane Teto and Cap'n Hatsune Miku
Worth noting: the Shop dates and the Captain's Days dates don't always line up. Lil Uzi Vert hits the Shop on November 12 but was announced simply as the captain "after" launch week, while Miku and Teto share a November 14 Shop date that also happens to be a Captain's Days date. If a specific skin is the reason you're logging in, go by the Shop dates above rather than assuming it matches a Captain's Day.
8. Mark Your Calendar: The Chapter 7 Finale
Epic closed its announcement with a pointed reminder: "keep Saturday, December 5, open" for "an unforgettable Chapter 7 end event." No further details on the finale itself have been published yet, but it gives Treasure Hunters a hard end date to build toward, with the captain rotation and Shop drops serving as the lead-up content. For context on the chapter leading into this event, our Chapter 7 Season 4 Override breakdown covers what came immediately before Treasure Hunters.
