Roblox's Biggest New Games This October: Prime Heroes, Octane, Starforged and Scrapbook Saga Explained
Prime Heroes, Octane, Starforged and Scrapbook Saga are all landing on Roblox this October as part of the platform's fall 2026 lineup. Here's what each game is, who built it, and the current early-access status of each one straight from Roblox's own listings.
Four of the biggest third-party titles in Roblox's fall 2026 lineup are landing this month. Prime Heroes, Octane, Starforged and Scrapbook Saga were all confirmed for October release windows in Roblox's own Fall Games Preview, and each one comes from a different studio backed by Roblox's Incubator and Jumpstart programs. Here's what each game actually is, who's making it, and where things stand right now if you want to try them.
1. Why Roblox Is Pushing a Big October Lineup
Roblox has spent 2026 investing heavily in high-production third-party experiences, funding external studios through its Incubator and Jumpstart programs to build games that look and play closer to standalone console or PC titles than typical user-made Roblox experiences. The October wave follows six other titles — Showdown: The Showdown Cup, Monster in the Mansion, GOAT Football League, Nemesis, Fossil Force and Caramel — that Roblox already rolled out in September as part of the same fall push. Between the two waves, Roblox is backing ten new experiences across shooters, racing, horror, sports, farming sims and action RPGs in a single season.
The push follows directly from what Roblox previewed at its developer conference a few weeks earlier — if you want the full picture of the platform changes announced there, everything else Roblox revealed at RDC 2026 covers the browser play, standalone apps and Wallet features landing alongside this lineup.
2. Prime Heroes — SuperGaming's Roblox-Exclusive Hero Shooter
Prime Heroes is a team-based hero shooter built specifically for Roblox by SuperGaming, set in an original setting called the Prime universe. According to Roblox's official preview, a match breaks down into three steps: pick a side, pick a hero, then fight to capture crown sites against the opposing team. The game entered early access in September with six playable heroes, and Roblox says sixteen more are already in development for future seasons. A full release is planned for October.
Because it's built from the ground up as a hero shooter rather than a reskin of an existing Roblox game, Prime Heroes leans on classic third-person and first-person combat — melee weapons, sidearms and ability-based heroes with distinct kits — inside purpose-built arena maps rather than open social hubs.
3. Octane — Ignition Switch's Open-World Racer
Octane comes from Ignition Switch, a studio led by developer Michael Loconte and built through Roblox's Incubator program. Roblox describes it as a free, high-fidelity open-world racing game with realistic physics for drifting and track interaction, built so players can drive anywhere in the world rather than being locked to set circuits — including, as Roblox's own preview puts it, off the edges of cliffs.
Worth knowing before you go looking for it: Octane's own Roblox page is currently listed as "Octane - Early Access Demo," and as of this week it displays a notice reading that the early access demo period has ended, with a line asking players to watch Ignition Switch's announcements for what comes next. In other words, the open demo that ran earlier this fall has closed, and the October window Roblox listed in its preview is for the next phase of the rollout rather than a game that's continuously playable right now.
4. Starforged — Studio Making Fun's Sci-Fantasy Action RPG
Starforged is an action role-playing game from Studio Making Fun, led by CEO John Welch, set in a sci-fantasy world that blends tactical combat with push-your-luck extraction mechanics. Players build up upgradable gear and abilities between runs, and Roblox's preview specifically calls out the risk-reward loop of staying in a dangerous encounter a little longer for better rewards versus pulling out safely. Unlike Prime Heroes and Octane, Roblox's own listing says Starforged's early access is already live, making it the most immediately playable of the four October titles.
5. Scrapbook Saga — A Paper-Craft Co-Op RPG
Scrapbook Saga, built by FadedBFox and Xeycrow, is a multiplayer turn-based RPG with a distinct visual hook: every character is a flat, hand-animated paper cutout moving through an arts-and-crafts-themed world built from cardboard, construction paper and craft supplies. Roblox's preview describes group battles of four players banding together against tougher enemies, which puts it closer to a cooperative turn-based RPG than the more combat-heavy, real-time games elsewhere in the October lineup. It's the clearest example in this batch of Roblox funding a game built around an original art style rather than chasing an existing genre trend.
6. How These Four Compare
Spread across four genres, the October lineup is less about one breakout hit and more about Roblox diversifying what a "big budget" Roblox game can look like in the same season:
- Prime Heroes — competitive team hero shooter, arena-based, six heroes at launch.
- Octane — open-world social racing with physics-based drifting, currently between its demo and next phase.
- Starforged — sci-fantasy action RPG with extraction-style risk-reward runs, early access already live.
- Scrapbook Saga — cooperative turn-based RPG with a hand-crafted paper art style, four-player group battles.
All four sit alongside the six titles Roblox already shipped in September as part of the same fall slate — for the complete rundown of every game in the season, including the first wave, see our full breakdown of the Roblox Fall Games Preview.
7. Where These Games Fit in Roblox's Bigger 2026 Push
This lineup didn't appear in isolation. Roblox capped off its September developer conference by handing out its annual awards to the platform's top creators and experiences — you can see which games and creators took home honors in this year's Roblox Innovation Awards winners. The timing isn't a coincidence: Roblox has been using its Incubator and Jumpstart funding programs to court established game studios and bring them onto the platform with projects that have real production budgets behind them, rather than relying solely on community-made experiences to drive growth.
8. Quick Tips Before You Jump In
- Search each game by its exact name — Prime Heroes, Octane, Starforged and Scrapbook Saga — in the Roblox app or on roblox.com, since all four are separate experiences rather than modes inside an existing game.
- Check a game's own page before queuing up. As Octane shows, "October" release windows from Roblox's preview can mean a new access phase rather than guaranteed 24/7 availability on day one.
- If you want objective-based PvP, start with Prime Heroes. If you want a single-player or small-group RPG loop, Starforged's extraction mechanics or Scrapbook Saga's co-op battles are the better fit. Octane is the pick for open-world driving once its next phase opens up.
- Early access heroes, cars, gear and characters are likely to change before each game's full release, so expect balance and content updates on all four titles as October continues.
