Quick Summary

Rockstar's official Grand Theft Auto VI music page has revealed six in-game radio stations, their DJs and genres, plus a standalone score single — separate from the 34-track companion album. Here's everything confirmed so far, three weeks before the November 19 launch.

Rockstar Games has started filling in one of the last big blanks in Grand Theft Auto VI: what you'll actually be listening to while you drive. On October 8, 2026, the official Grand Theft Auto VI music page went live with previews of six in-game radio stations, their in-universe DJs, and a first look at the standalone score. Three weeks out from the game's November 19 launch, here's everything Rockstar has confirmed about the radio dial so far — and what's still missing.

This isn't the 34-track Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album licensed soundtrack Rockstar announced with Atlantic Records back in September — that's a separate, standalone release you can read about in our GTA 6: The Album tracklist and vinyl breakdown. This is the actual in-game radio lineup: the stations your character flips through on the road in Leonida.

1. The Six Radio Stations Confirmed So Far

Rockstar's music page previews six stations, each built around an in-game DJ duo rather than a single host. Three songs are previewed per station. Here's the official rundown of genres and DJs:

  • Cocoteo — modern Latin, hosted by DJs El Martillo and La Gata.
  • Back Country — country, hosted by DJs MW and Delta Dawne.
  • Afro Bank FM — amapiano, African classics and 3-step, hosted by DJs Burna and Palmsy.
  • The Chamber 106.6 — metal, hosted by DJ Kerry and DJ Tom.
  • Flash FM — pop, hosted by DJs Robyn and Alex.
  • Dirty South Classics — regional rap and hip-hop classics, hosted by DJs Trick and Trina.

Rockstar's page doesn't confirm whether any of these in-universe DJ names are voiced by real-world musicians, so treat that detail as unconfirmed until the studio says otherwise.

Cocoteo

Cocoteo is billed on Rockstar's site as "el party que nunca se apaga" — the party that never turns off — and leans into modern Latin pop and reggaeton. It's the station most likely to anchor Vice City's club-district driving playlist.

Back Country

Back Country is the series' country entry, and its branding art — a guitarist silhouetted on an airboat at sunset — leans hard into the swampland side of Leonida rather than the neon city blocks. Expect this to be the station that scores long drives through the rural map.

Afro Bank FM

AfroBank FM covers amapiano, African classics and 3-step — a genre mix the series hasn't dedicated a full station to before. It's billed on Rockstar's page with the line "turn up the gbedu."

The Chamber 106.6 is the metal station, hosted by DJ Kerry and DJ Tom. It's the one most likely to draw attention from longtime fans of the series' rock stations, going back to V-Rock in the Vice City era.

Flash FM

Flash FM is a returning name — the original Flash FM was one of Vice City's signature 1980s pop stations back in 2002's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. In VI it's described simply as a Vice City pop station hosted by DJs Robyn and Alex, with no confirmation yet of how closely it leans on the station's retro identity versus a modern pop playlist.

Dirty South Classics

Dirty South Classics is dedicated to regional rap and hip-hop classics, hosted by DJs Trick and Trina — a fitting fit for a game set in a fictionalized Florida.

2. What's Still Missing: Classic Rock and Talk Radio

Rockstar's music page explicitly names two more station types that exist in the game but haven't been detailed yet: a classic rock station and a talk radio station. Both fit the mold of past GTA soundtracks, which have long paired licensed-music stations with at least one talk-format station, but Rockstar hasn't revealed names, hosts or playlists for either yet. Given the pace of reveals so far, expect these to surface closer to launch.

3. Podcasts Join the Radio Dial for the First Time

Alongside the music stations, Rockstar's page confirms Grand Theft Auto VI will include podcasts for the first time in the series. The studio hasn't named any specific shows, hosts or episode topics yet — only that the format is new to the radio system. It reads as an expansion beyond the scripted comedy and ad-break format of previous games' talk stations, rather than a replacement for them.

4. The Score: Justice's "Flower in a Hurricane"

Separately from the radio stations, Rockstar's music page previews the game's standalone score single, "Flower in a Hurricane" by French electronic duo Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. This sits apart from both the licensed radio stations and the 34-track companion album — it's the closest thing to a flagship theme track the game has previewed publicly.

5. How This Fits Into the Bigger Picture

The radio reveal lands roughly five weeks before launch, following the same drip-feed pattern Rockstar has used for most of VI's marketing: platforms and editions confirmed first, then world and mechanics breakdowns, and now the audio layer as the release date closes in. If you're deciding which edition to buy, our breakdown of what's included in the Standard and Ultimate editions covers pre-order bonuses separately from anything shown here. And if you're mapping out where you'll actually be driving while these stations play, our guide to Leonida's map and regions covers the state Rockstar has revealed in trailers so far.
