Fortnite Treasure Hunters: One Piece Crossover, New Captains and Everything Coming November 1
Fortnite's new Treasure Hunters season launches November 1, 2026, with a full One Piece crossover, a new Crossbones Isle map, and weekly captains including A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert and Hatsune Miku. Here's everything Epic has officially confirmed: the Battle Pass lineup, map locations, release schedule and what happens to Fortnitemares 2026.
Fortnite's next season, Treasure Hunters, launches on November 1, 2026, bringing a full crossover with Shueisha and Toei Animation's One Piece, a new 80-player island called Crossbones Isle, and a rotating cast of weekly "captains" that includes A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto. Epic Games confirmed the season on October 30 with an official reveal article and gameplay trailer, right as Fortnitemares 2026 winds down.
Here is everything Epic has officially confirmed so far: the new map, the One Piece powers and weapons, the Battle Pass lineup, the weekly release schedule, and what it means for the current Fortnitemares event.
1. What Is Fortnite Treasure Hunters and When Does It Start
Treasure Hunters is the mini-season that follows Chapter 7 Season 4, and it goes live on November 1, 2026. It is built around a One Piece collaboration, officially licensed from Eiichiro Oda, Shueisha and Toei Animation, and themed around pirate crews racing for hidden treasure. Epic says the season's story culminates in a Chapter 7 end event on Saturday, December 5, 2026, which will close out the chapter.
The season follows the Fortnitemares 2026 Halloween event, and replaces the current map and Battle Pass the way every new Fortnite season does. Epic's reveal article and the accompanying trailer are the only confirmed sources for what follows below; anything not stated there is left out.
2. The One Piece Collaboration: Powers, Captains and Crew
The headline feature is a full One Piece crossover. According to Epic, players will be able to use Luffy's Gum-Gum Fruit powers and Zoro's Three Sword Style as in-game items during the season. The Straw Hat crew leads the season's cast of rotating weekly "captains," starting with the Straw Hats themselves alongside musician A$AP Rocky.
Weekly Captains Lineup
Epic confirmed the order in which new captains and their crews arrive on the island:
- Launch (November 1): The Straw Hats and A$AP Rocky
- Next: Lil Uzi Vert
- Then: Cap'n Hatsune Miku
- Finally: Kasane Teto
Each captain brings their own crew and a dedicated point of interest to the map, a structure Epic has used before for season-long guest-character rollouts.
3. The New Map: Crossbones Isle, Arlong Park and Windmill Village
The new map is called Crossbones Isle, an 80-player island shaped for the season's pirate theme. Epic confirmed two named locations pulled directly from One Piece: Arlong Park and Windmill Village. A$AP Rocky's own point of interest, a battleship named "$.$. Rocky," is also added to the island, and his Shock Rocket becomes a usable weapon.
Beyond the two named One Piece locations and Rocky's battleship, Epic has not published a full named map yet, so treat any other POI callouts you see elsewhere as unconfirmed until Epic's own map drops at launch.
4. Battle Pass: Ace, Nico Robin and Anime-Style Outfits
Epic confirmed that the Treasure Hunters Battle Pass features Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin as headline One Piece outfits, alongside new anime-style looks for existing Fortnite characters: Jonesy, Cuddle Team Leader and Charlotte. Epic also confirmed a gifting bonus: anyone who gifts the Battle Pass gives both themselves and the recipient a Dark Kawaii Team Leader outfit style.
This follows the same seasonal-reward structure as the previous Override season's Battle Pass and map changes, where a themed pass anchored the whole season's content drops.
5. Captain's Days, Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours
Epic laid out a recurring content schedule that runs through the season:
- Captain's Days bring new weapons and Sprites to the map on November 1 (9 AM ET), November 7, November 12, November 14 and November 21.
- Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours (on Sundays) run throughout the season, adding the current captain's weapons to matchmaking and boosting their drop rates during those windows.
Sprites, Fortnite's collectible mastery-and-rewards system, continue to play into these events — for background on how that system works, see our breakdown of how Sprites, leveling and mastery rewards work.
6. Item Shop Schedule: When Each Character Arrives
Epic also published a rollout schedule for when each character becomes purchasable in the Item Shop, separate from the Battle Pass:
- Season launch (November 1): Luffy, Nami, Usopp
- November 5 (7 PM ET): A$AP Rocky
- November 7: Zoro, Sanji, Chopper Sidekick
- November 12: Lil Uzi Vert
- November 13: Buggy
- November 14: Kasane Teto and Cap'n Hatsune Miku
Epic has not published Item Shop prices for these individual outfits, so budget based on Fortnite's standard outfit tiers rather than any number you see quoted elsewhere.
7. What Happens to Fortnitemares 2026
Treasure Hunters launching November 1 effectively closes out Fortnitemares 2026, Fortnite's Halloween event, which had been running since October 1 with Five Nights at Freddy's, Freddy Krueger and Slender Man content. Epic's own scheduling confirms the handoff: Fortnitemares content wraps as the new season's downtime begins. If you still have Fortnitemares quests or Sprites to finish, do it before the season switch, since event-specific content typically leaves the Item Shop and quest log once a new season replaces it.
8. How This Compares to Past Fortnite Crossovers
A full anime license taking over the Battle Pass and map isn't new territory for Fortnite — Epic has run similar guest-universe seasons before, including Fortnite's past crossovers like the Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration, which also rebuilt map locations and added franchise-specific movement abilities. Treasure Hunters follows the same formula at a larger scale: a named island overhaul, licensed traversal powers (Luffy's stretching, Zoro's multi-blade stance), and a multi-week release calendar instead of a single-day drop.
The musician guest list also keeps growing. A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert and Hatsune Miku joining as playable captains puts Treasure Hunters alongside past music-industry tie-ins Fortnite has run through its Icon Series, but this time the guests are woven directly into the season's weekly content drops — new POIs, weapons and Sprites — rather than appearing only as standalone Item Shop outfits.
9. Should You Buy the Battle Pass This Season
Epic hasn't confirmed Battle Pass pricing for Treasure Hunters, but the reveal already answers the bigger question for most players: whether the pass is worth it depends on how much you want Ace and Nico Robin specifically, since those two are confirmed Battle Pass exclusives rather than Item Shop purchases. Everyone else in the trailer, including Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Zoro, Sanji, Buggy and the three musician captains, is confirmed for the Item Shop on a separate schedule, so skipping the pass does not lock you out of the wider One Piece lineup. The gifting bonus (a free Dark Kawaii Team Leader style for both sides of a gifted pass) is a reasonable sweetener if you were already planning to buy one for a friend.
