GTA 6 Radio Stations Revealed: Six Stations, Hosts and On-Demand Podcasts Explained
Rockstar has confirmed GTA 6's first six in-game radio stations — Cocoteo, Back Country, Afro Bank FM, The Chamber, Flash FM and Dirty South Classics — along with a franchise-first series of on-demand podcasts. Here's every station, host and genre confirmed so far, plus what's still unannounced.
Rockstar Games has pulled back the curtain on GTA 6's in-game radio lineup for the first time, confirming six named stations, their on-air hosts and a franchise-first feature: on-demand podcasts players can listen to on foot. The reveal landed on Rockstar's own Newswire on October 8, 2026, and the station previews are already live and streamable on the official GTA 6 website — six weeks ahead of the game's November 19 launch.
Here's exactly what Rockstar has confirmed about the radio stations broadcasting across Leonida, what the on-demand podcasts will do, and what's still unannounced.
1. The Six Confirmed Radio Stations in Leonida
Rockstar's post, titled "The Music of Grand Theft Auto VI: In-Game Radio Stations," names six stations and their in-game hosts. Each one has a roughly two-minute preview you can stream directly from Rockstar's site right now:
- Cocoteo — modern Latin music, hosted by El Martillo and La Gata.
- Back Country — country music, hosted by MW and Delta Dawne.
- Afro Bank FM — amapiano, African classics and 3-step, hosted by Burna and Palmsy.
- The Chamber — metal, hosted by DJ Kerry and DJ Tom.
- Flash FM — pop, hosted by Robyn and Alex.
- Dirty South Classics — regional rap and hip-hop classics, hosted by Trick and Trina.
Rockstar's site describes the lineup as the "biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio and podcasts yet" for the series, and also references Classic Rock and Talk Radio as genres players can expect, without naming specific stations for either yet.
2. On-Demand Podcasts Are a Series First
Alongside the music stations, Rockstar confirmed GTA 6 will introduce a series of on-demand podcasts — the first time podcast-style content has been built into a mainline Grand Theft Auto game's radio system. Jason and Lucia will be able to listen to them in vehicles, and the game is adding headphones and earbuds so players can keep music or podcasts playing while on foot, away from a car radio. That's a new option for the series, which has historically tied radio listening to whatever vehicle a player is driving.
Rockstar has not yet named any individual podcast or released a schedule for when podcast content unlocks, so treat the feature itself — confirmed — separately from any specific show names you may see floated elsewhere online; those remain unconfirmed leaks.
The on-foot detail matters more than it might first sound. Every mainline GTA game since the radio system debuted has tied music to whichever vehicle a player is currently driving, cutting out the instant a character steps onto the sidewalk. Pairing headphones and earbuds with on-demand podcasts means Leonida's soundtrack — both music and spoken-word content — can now follow Jason or Lucia through missions and free roam on foot, not just behind the wheel.
3. Dirty South Classics and The Chamber Round Out the Genre Spread
The confirmed lineup leans into genre variety rather than doubling up on any one sound. Dirty South Classics focuses on regional rap and hip-hop classics, hosted by Trick and Trina, while The Chamber covers metal under hosts DJ Kerry and DJ Tom. Combined with Cocoteo's Latin programming and Afro Bank FM's amapiano and African-classics mix, the six announced stations already cover a noticeably wider genre range than GTA 5 launched with.
4. Flash FM Returns, 24 Years After Vice City
Flash FM is the one station here with real series history. It was one of the original pop stations in 2002's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and its return in GTA 6 — again set in Vice City's modern incarnation — closes a 24-year gap for the brand. Rockstar's confirmed hosts for the station are Robyn and Alex. The studio hasn't said whether any original Vice City DJ dialogue or jingles carry over, so that detail remains open.
5. How the Reveal Connects to GTA 6: The Album
The radio announcement follows Rockstar's confirmation of a standalone soundtrack release, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, which the publisher has set for release alongside the game. Rockstar has not yet confirmed whether the album's tracks are the same songs playable on these six in-game stations, so don't assume a 1:1 overlap between the two. For the full track and release breakdown, walkthroughs.net has a dedicated guide to the GTA VI: The Album tracklist and vinyl editions.
6. What Rockstar Hasn't Confirmed Yet
A few things are still missing from the official announcement, and it's worth being precise about the gap between what's confirmed and what's rumored:
- Rockstar has not published a complete station list — six stations are confirmed, but the Classic Rock and Talk Radio genres it references are not yet tied to named stations.
- No individual podcast titles or hosts have been announced.
- Full music tracklists per station haven't been published; only the short preview clips are available so far.
- Whether any additional stations will be revealed before launch, and on what schedule, hasn't been said.
Station and song names circulating beyond this list — including ones tied to specific real-world musicians as in-world hosts, or additional station names sourced from leaked gameplay footage — have not been confirmed by Rockstar in this announcement and should be treated as unverified until Rockstar names them directly.
For context, GTA 5 launched in 2013 with 18 radio stations. Six confirmed stations this far ahead of a November 19 launch suggests Rockstar is following a similar staged rollout rather than revealing the full lineup in one post — so more stations, and likely the Classic Rock and Talk Radio entries it has already name-dropped, are reasonable to expect before launch even though Rockstar hasn't committed to a reveal schedule.
7. Where to Listen Now, and When the Full Game Arrives
All six station previews are streaming now on Rockstar's official GTA 6 music page, playable directly in the browser. The full radio system, along with the rest of the game, launches with GTA 6 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026.
