Quick Summary

Black Ops 7 and Warzone's Season 6 added four new weapons — the VMP, TR51 Para, Arcblade, and Roc 20mm — each unlocked a different way, from Battle Pass HVT rewards to the DOOM Event Pass. Here's how to get every one, straight from Raven Software's official patch notes.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone's Season 6 update, "The Haunting," is the final season before the series hands off to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 later in October, and it arrived with four new weapons spread across the Battle Pass, a seasonal camo event, and the Halloween-themed DOOM Event Pass. None of them unlock the same way, and a couple are easy to miss if you aren't checking the right menu at the right time.

Here's exactly what the VMP, TR51 Para, Arcblade, and Roc 20mm are, how each one is unlocked, and what changed for them since launch — all pulled directly from Raven Software's official Season 06 patch notes.

1. Season 6 Is the Last Stop Before Modern Warfare 4

Season 06 launched on September 17, 2026, and Raven Software has been rolling out follow-up updates almost weekly since — a September 24 Doom Event Pass drop, a September 25 hotfix, and a September 30 balance patch. It's the final content season for Black Ops 7's first year, covering Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone simultaneously before the franchise moves on. For the rest of the rundown on maps, modes, and ranked changes this season added, see our full breakdown of everything The Haunting added.

All four new weapons are usable the moment you unlock them in Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone — Raven built this season's reward tracks to unlock across every mode at once rather than gating weapons to one playlist.

2. VMP — The Fast-Handling SMG

The VMP is a full-auto submachine gun that Raven Software describes as having "fast handling with a fast fire rate" and "reliable damage and accuracy with light falloff at range" — in other words, a close-range SMG built for aggressive, mobile play rather than contesting rifles at distance.

How to Unlock It

  • Reach Page 3 of the Season 6 Battle Pass as a free High-Value Target (HVT) reward.
  • A second copy is available as a Battle Pass Blueprint on Page 15 HVT.
  • If you miss both windows, Raven's patch notes point players to an alternative unlock challenge in the Armory.

Once leveled up, the VMP's prestige attachment — the MFS Tactical Command Grip — improves mobility, recoil control, recoil stabilization, and tac-stance spread, making it even faster to flick between targets in close quarters.

3. TR51 Para — The Assault Rifle That Converts to Full Auto

The TR51 Para is a semi-auto assault rifle by default. Official notes describe it as having "very high damage and easy to control at range," with "average handling" — a trade-off rifle for players who want rifle-grade damage without giving up accuracy at range.

How to Unlock It

  • Available at launch through the Battle Pass, as a free HVT reward on Page 6.
  • A Blueprint version is on Page 12 of the Battle Pass tier track.

Its prestige attachment, the 18.5" MFS Fallen Angel Barrel, converts the TR51 Para to a slow-firing full-auto weapon — Raven's notes describe it as trading some controllability for "massively improved" bullet velocity and stopping power.

The September 30 Nerf

That full-auto conversion didn't stay untouched for long. In the September 30 balance update, Raven Software cut the TR51 Para's full-auto rate of fire from 625 RPM down to 333 RPM under the Assault Rifle Adjustments section of the patch notes — a significant reduction aimed squarely at the Fallen Angel Barrel build that had been dominating lobbies since the Battle Pass launch.

4. Arcblade — Season 6's New Melee Weapon

The Arcblade is Black Ops 7's newest melee option, and Raven's own description leans into the lore: "a near-future spin on a bladed tonfa, combining a knifelike blade attached to the underside of grip and frame for maximum speed and stability." Unlike the three firearms above, it has no attachments or prestige upgrade path — it's built purely around high damage, fast attack speed, and moderate range.

How to Unlock It

The Arcblade isn't a Battle Pass reward. It comes from the Camo Costume Party event, Season 6's seasonal camo event, by completing Weapon Class Camo Challenges. Raven's notes are explicit that this one takes coordination across modes: you need to finish camo challenges from all four modes — Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone — to clear the full event and claim both the Arcblade and the event's weapon camos.

5. Roc 20mm — The DOOM Event's Heavy Special Weapon

The Roc 20mm is the odd one out: a semi-auto special weapon that Raven describes as firing "a massive 20mm round for devastating damage output with heavy recoil," and one that "can be configured to fire full auto." It's less a rifle and more a mobile cannon, and it arrives tied to Season 6's biggest crossover.

How to Unlock It

The Roc 20mm is a reward inside the limited-time DOOM Event Pass, which went live September 24 alongside the Doom Slayer Operator and the classic Doomguy Operator skin. Completing the DOOM Event Pass's challenge track nets the Roc 20mm along with Doom-themed cosmetics like the Crucible Blade and DOOM Shotgun blueprints. For the complete rundown of every reward on that track, read our full guide to the DOOM Event Pass and the Doom Slayer Operator.

Like the TR51 Para, the Roc 20mm has a prestige attachment: the MFS Warhead Autoloader, which converts it to full auto and swaps in explosive-payload rounds for extra damage once you've put in the weapon levels.

6. Where You'll Actually Use These Weapons

All four weapons carry over between modes, but where you'll want them changes:

  • Warzone Battle Royale and Resurgence — the VMP and TR51 Para both fit standard loadouts on Verdansk and the seasonal Haunted Hollow map, while the Roc 20mm's heavy recoil makes it more of a situational pick against vehicles and groups.
  • Ranked Play: Resurgence (Trios) — Season 6 also introduced a reworked scoreboard that factors into rank adjustments, so weapon tuning changes like the TR51 Para nerf matter more here than in casual lobbies.
  • Zombies and Endgame — the Arcblade's high damage and fast swing speed make it a reliable panic button against hordes, and all four weapons count toward the Camo Costume Party's cross-mode camo challenges.

7. Quick Tips Recap

  • The VMP and TR51 Para are both free Battle Pass HVT rewards on Pages 3 and 6 — don't let the pass expire before grabbing them.
  • The Arcblade only comes from the Camo Costume Party event, and you need camo challenge progress in all four modes to finish it.
  • The Roc 20mm is locked behind the DOOM Event Pass, which launched September 24 alongside the Doom Slayer Operator.
  • The TR51 Para's full-auto conversion got a real nerf on September 30 — 625 RPM down to 333 RPM — so don't expect pre-patch performance from it.
  • Every new weapon works across Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone, so progress made in one mode toward camos or challenges carries over.

Season 6 is also the last word on Black Ops 7's weapon roster before the spotlight shifts — see what's confirmed so far for Modern Warfare 4's release and Warzone plans if you're already looking ahead.
