Introduction

Rime Room is an escape game created by IsumiArtizan. Rime Room is filled with interesting puzzles, mysterious riddles and amazing and challenging clues. This is one of the best escape games to date, and it is a classic amongst the escape game community!

Walkthrough

Normal Ending

Click on the drawing inside the book. (A)
You are now inside the rime room. Go to the small desk and open the top drawer. (B)
Collect the key inside it. (C)
Now, go to the bigger desk. Click into the newspaper. (D)
Collect it. (G)
Click into the electrical box. (G)
Use the key to open the electrical box. (G)

Collect the batteries inside the electrical box. (H)
Go inside the door. (I)
Collect the binoculars. (J)
Look up onto the balconies and click on the signs. (K)
The sign is a hint for the next puzzle. (L)

Tap the small drawer located into the table containing the knife. Use the signs on the balconies to open the drawer. The Solution: R – L – L – R – R – R – L – L. (M)
Collect the remote control unit. (N)
Select the remote controller on the inventory tap. Turn it over while using the arrow. (O)
Open the back panel and place the batteries inside. (P)

Click on the box on the wall to the right of the main door. View the small sign. The symbols will be used in the remote control unit in order to open the box. (Q)
The correct buttons to press in order to open the box. Tap the rectangle button in order to activate it and now the box is unlocked! (R)
Tap the button on the right. Collect the fuse inside the box. (S)
Go to the table containing the knife again. Click on the knife. (T)
Place the binocular with the knife and tap the knife again in order to cut the string from the binoculars. (U)

Tap the electrical box again. (W)
Place the fuse you just collected into the second slot. (V)
Tap the wood burning stove. (X)
Place the newspaper inside the stove. (Y)
Click on the box located on the main door. (Z)
Collect the third fuse. (A1)
Tap the electrical box again. (B1)
Place the third fuse into the third slot to turn on the power in the room! (C1)

Click on to the elevator door. (D1)
Use the elevator to go to the second floor. After going to the second floor, click on the hole that is seen on the back wall of the elevator. Collect the phillips head inside the hole. (E1)
Now that you are upstairs, tap the box. Collect the hook. (F1)
Go to the right side of the floor and collect the empty can. (G1)
Select the string in the inventory tab and combine it with the hook. Now you have a string with a hook attached to it! (H1)

Go downstairs onto the elevator door area again. Click on the vent on the floor. (I1)
Use the string and hook combination to collect a drawer knob that was dropped inside that vent. (J1)
Go to the small table area and tap the bottom drawer. Use the drawer knob to fix it and open it. (K1)
Collect the matches. (L1)
Tap on the bench vice. (M1)
Use the phillips head to loosen the vice jaws. (N1)
Collect the small piece of metal that drops after loosening the vice jaws. (O1)
Tap on the box to the left of the main door. (P1)
Use the small metal you just collected to open the box. (Q1)

Use the ladder on the small table section of the room. (R1)
Climb the ladder and collect the paper. (S1)
Read the paper. It shows what buttons to push on the box we just opened before finding this paper. (T1)
Go to the box to the left of the main door and push the buttons that were shown on the paper. The image shows the correct buttons to press. (U1)
Click on the padlock on the bottom of the main door. (V1)
The correct pins to press are shown on the image. Now you can open the door a little to collect some more items. (W1)

See through the door. (X1)
Collect the square part in the snow outside. (Y1)
Fill the can with snow. (Z1)
Go to the stove. Open the stove and then use the matches to light it up. (A2)
Place the empty can on top of the stove. After that, collect it again with the hot water. (B2)
Look outside again and click on the bucket. (C2)
Pour hot water into the bucket. (D2)
Take the screwdriver handle that was hiding on the bucket. (E2)

Combine the phillips head with the screwdriver handle to create a screwdriver. (F2)
Use the screwdriver on the metal. (G2)
Move to the end of the balcony. (H2)
Click on the metal box. Use the screwdriver on the 4 screws to open the box. (I2)
Click on the sign. Read it. We will use these symbols in our remote controller to unlock something remotely. (J2)

The correct button to press on the remote controller. We should now be able to open a metal box. (K2)
Tap on the metal box and unlock it. (L2)
Collect the iron box. (M2)
Make sure the elevator is actually on the second door. If not, you can go to the first floor and bring the elevator back up. Tap on the cracked hold on the wall. (N2)
Collect the key. (O2)
Go downstairs again. Click on the wooden box alongside the stove. Use the key on the lock and tap the right side to open the first lock, but you need to unlock the second lock too. (P2)
There are clues on different parts on the room but the image shows the correct way to open the box. (Q2)
Collect the wrench. (R2)

Go to the main door on the first floor and click on the metal bar you removed earlier. (S2)
Use the wrench to remove the nut. After that collect the iron rod. (T2)
Go to the elevator door. Click on the hole. Place the iron rod into the hole. (V2)
View the picture frame, it is located on the left of the elevator door. Tap on the left side of the frame and remove the nuts with the wrench. (W2)
Tap the frame in order to see a box that was hiding in it. Collect the crank handle. (X2)
Go to the second floor while using the ladder. Click on the elevator door. (Y2)
Use the crank handle on the right tap to open the left hatch door. (Z2)

Collect the coin. (A3)
Collect the book. (B3)
Use the elevator. (C3)
Tap the plate with the two screws. (D3)
Use the coin to remove the screws. Collect the key. (E3)
Go to the second floor again. Click on the box. (F3)
Use the key to open the box. Collect the crumbled paper. (G3)

Open the crumbled paper and collect the triangle that was inside it. (H3)
Go to the small table. See the paper clues on the knife. (I3)
Place the 3 parts in the iron box in their correct spots based on the paper clues on the knife spot. (J3)
Collect the wire brush. (K3)

Go to the picture on the back wall. Brush the plate on the bottom left corner of the metal box. (L3)
Click on the plate. We will use these symbols on the remote controller to open the metal box. (M3)
The correct buttons to press in order to open the metal box. (N3)
Collect the parchment. (O3)
Read the parchment. (P3)

Select the book. Click on the lock. (Q3)
Type in SNOW to open the book. (R3)
Tap the book on the right until you find the key. Collect the key. (S3)
Go to the main door on the first floor. Use the key to open the door. (T3)

Go out in the snow to end the game.

True Ending

If you want the True Ending, don’t go out on the snow till yet. Click on the padlock and then collect it. (A)
Remove the Latch from the padlock. (B)
Go to the elevator door on the second floor. Click on the hole at the back of the shaft. (C)
Use the Latch to unscrew the 4 screws in order to collect the iron plate. (D)
Turn the iron plate over and then collect the Paper Fragment. (E)

Place the paper fragment on the book. (F)
Go to the second floor. Use the lever to move the elevator down and let it get stuck half way. Click on the incompleted image of the book, you will then experience a cutscene where you are going to attempt to leave the book’s world but the image was incomplete. Now, go up the ladder to the elevator on the second floor, Click on the hole at the back. (G)
Pull the lever to make a chain descend. (H)
Go to the elevator door on the ground floor again. Combine the padlock with the latch again and place the padlock on the chain in order to hook it on the box handle. Pull the lever to lift the box. (I)
Go back to the elevator door on the second floor. Now, the lifted box will appear. Click on the plate, we are going to use these symbols on the remote controller to open this final box. (J)

Press the buttons shown on the image to unlock the box. (K)
Collect the last paper fragment. (L)
Place the last paper fragment on the book to complete the image. (M)
Click on the now completed image.
You completed the True Ending!

Conclusion

Throughout the game, you will experience the interesting mysteries, the scary soundtrack and these well-crafted puzzles. It is also a really optimized game, it contains realistic images and beautiful graphics but the gameplay is still smooth as butter, as you will not experience any frame drops or stutters at all in any smartphone.
