Now, Kate needs your help to find a way to escape. The solution won’t be easy as the game sets the advanced difficulty level. AE Mysteries: The Echo Bay Murders Walkthrough Chapter 2
After being run off the road, the detective finds himself in a dark basement. Finding the way out is her ultimate goal; meanwhile, seeing how she reached here is also mandatory to know.
- Grab the glass of water as you wake up in the basement and add it to your inventory.
- As the man leaves, break the glass by throwing it toward the pipe and collecting some floor pieces.
- Use the broken glass to cut the rope binding your hands.
- Before leaving the area, don’t forget to obtain a pipe and a bucket from the table. Head to the floor and remove the planks to grab the drill bit.
- Head to the cupboard on the left side of the table and collect a paperclip.
- Use the paperclip from the inventory and open the door on the left side.
- Go through the door to reach the toilet and discover a folding chair and a pipe.
- Select the folding chair and keep it under the closed window. Head to the cupboard to collect a battery that you must attach to the drill machine along with Drill Bit.
- Use the Drill machine to open up the planks covering the window and see through it to discover a vehicle, but before grab a pipe and add it to your inventory.
- Hit the back button, open up all screws of the deer’s head fixed above the table, and discover a pipeline where you must add all pipes to run a mini-game.
- Fix the pipeline by connecting all the water connections to life.
- Select the bucket from the inventory and fill it with water from the basin on the left side.
- Choose the bucket and pour the water onto the floor to grab a torchlight.
- Head to the stairs and tap the door to unlock it. But first, you have to figure out the code that is only possible if you see the vehicle’s license plate and then use its letter to find the code in a fishing book.
- To unlock the door, your code is 92143.
Room
After climbing upstairs and going through the door, you reach a new clean and well-decorated room. Upon arriving, you discover that the man has been left it for a while, and you have a chance to plan your escape.
- Open up the bag to automatically collect an evidence book that will be added next to the star.
- Pick up a charger from the table and a fish trophy from the shelf on the left side.
- Once again, click on the bag to discover the camera and tap on it to grab its battery.
- Select and plug the charger into the socket and connect the camera battery. Obtain the fully charged battery from the charger and insert it back to the camera.
- Turn on the camera to see the footage and notice the colors of different flowers surrounding the girl’s head.
- To solve the puzzle, you have to tap the animal heads following the respective colors you found in the footage.
- As you tap the animal heads in a particular sequence, the ceiling ladder comes out, and you can explore the new area to discover clues and other hidden objects.
Room 2
After climbing the ceiling ladder, you reach a new room where you can’t see anything without using a torchlight. Therefore, select the torch from the inventory and utilize it to see through the dark.
- Select the torch and drag the light area across the scene to discover a gun, fish trophy, and a key from the box kept near the duct tape on the right side.
- Take downstairs to reach the first room and open the trunk using the key from your inventory.
- Explore the trunk to discover the second gun and a magnet.
- Get the curtains aside to see outside and wait for a while until the vehicle disappears from the scene.
- Grab a map piece from the window and head to the gun stand. Keep both guns in the stand and arrange them in a particular sequence to solve the puzzle.
- Tap the red sofa, click the cushion to pick it up, and get another map piece.
- The drawer will open as you solve the puzzle, holding a bulb. Grab the bulb and climb the ceiling ladder to reach the second room. Drag the light to find the holder and fix the bulb to light up the room.
- Use the magnet to open the drawer on the left side and collect a crowbar.
- Select and use the crowbar to remove the plank from the ceiling and get the second map piece.
- Collect the third fish trophy from the red sofa, use the crowbar to remove the plank from the floor, and get a wrench.
- Next, use the crowbar to remove the wooden pieces from the front window, head to a small cupboard on the right side, and place all fish trophies there.
- Hit the back button for a while, tap the table between the cupboard and the red chair to discover a map, and complete it by adding all missing pieces to find clues.
- Click on the box under the table and add the code (50, 27, 30, and 15).
- Open the box to obtain another fish trophy that you must add to the showcase and start a mini-game.
- To solve the Trophy Puzzle, your objective is to place all the fish trophies correctly. Once it is completed, you can grab a harpoon. Select the harpoon and tap the box to get a Harpoon gun from the box.
