Introduction
Adventure Escape Mysteries: The Squire’s Tale requires you to key to unlock the next chapter and discover new locations, along with challenging puzzles. We are in an ancient temple in AEM: The Squire’s Tale Chapter 3, and it seems we have to play with three Orbs: Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. There are several Obelisks available where you can place your Orbs to bring something new to the scene and try to solve challenging puzzles. Similarly, there is a pond in the second room and many other exciting things. Lead your detective throughout all areas and help him solve tricky puzzles. Adventure Escape Mysteries: The Squire’s Tale Walkthrough – Chapter 3
The location in AEM: The Squire’s Tale Chapter 3 is known as “Ruins of Recursia,” a beautiful place you can experience from an isometric viewpoint.
- First, interact with jars and break them to get a key. Head to the closet on the left side and get a red-colored paint bucket.
- Second, examine the statue, the numbers on hands (3 and 12), and the etchings around it.
- Select the key from your panel and dip it into the red-colored paint bucket to make it red. Now, head to the door with a red lock on the left side and use the red key to open it.
- Obtain a Red Alpha Orb as the door opens and keep it in your inventory for later use. Select the Orb and put it in the slot on the left side to bring a Pedestal out of the ground holding a puzzle to solve.
- It requires you to press 3, 1, and 2 buttons. Soon, a door behind the statue will open, and you must go through it, but before, don’t forget to get the Alpha Orb
Enter the Temple
You are in a new room where you must examine it to find hidden objects and clues. There are several mini-games featured to challenge your detective skills.
- Examine the area to discover a bow from under the table and the arrow hidden inside the table on the left side.
- Select the Bow and Arrow from your panel and shoot the hanging statue to bring it down. Examine the figure to obtain the Beta Orb.
- Go upstairs, select the Beta Orb from your panel, and place it in the same slot on the left side to open a secret section. Tap the Waders to collect and keep it in your inventory.
- Before leaving, don’t forget to return the Beta Orb to your inventory. You must go downstairs and put the Waders in the pound to get a Painting Key.
- Discover an Obelisk in the room and place the Alpha Orb to bring the painting down. Now, use the key from your panel to open the lock and collect the painting from the spot. Before moving on, you must get the Alpha Orb back.
- Now, it’s time to place the Beta Orb on the same Obelisk; this time, something happens on the ground. You must select the painting from your panel and put it on the newly revealed area to get a clue.
- After getting your Orb back, jump into the pond to play a mini-game, wherein you have to tap the particular arrows in a sequence of 8, 3, 1, 4, and 6.
- Once you solve the puzzle, a few tiles will be removed from the right side and revealed downstairs.
- You must go downstairs and discover what just happened to Cedrick as he has been stuck to the ceiling; now, you must find a way to bring him down.
Explore the Hidden Room
First, select the Beta Orb from your panel and place it on the Obelisk. Tap the platform to open the zoom view and start playing a mini-game, wherein your goal is to draw a path between two stars by dragging stone tiles to the correct slots.
- There’s another puzzle to solve, wherein you can teleport tiles to use them. However, when you complete the game, it gives you a Flower Key to use later.
- Before leaving the area, don’t forget to return the Beta Orb to your inventory.
- Return to the first room and use the Flower Key to unlock the closet on the right side. Examine it to discover Rubber Gloves and a Watering Can.
- Go downstairs, select, and use the Gloves from your panel to obtain Mossbottom Ooze.
- Afterward, go downstairs, select, and place the Alpha Orb in the Obelisk to remove the mirror cover. Select the Mossbottom Ooze from your panel and put it on the stone.
- Now, choose the Watering can, pour the water on the ooze, and wait for a few seconds until the stone melts.
- Soon, a mini-game appears on the spot from behind the board, and the objective is to bring the Alpha Orb out of the Obelisk.
- Now, help the knight push the rock away and make a kick on the wall to get a Gamma Orb. Pu the Gamma Orb in the Obelisk to see what’s happening with the statue on the left side. It seems the stone slab is ready to collect, so make a tap on it to obtain.
- However, tap the mini-game on the front wall and get the dead battery from the spot.
- Leave the room and go to the first location. Select the Stone Slab and put it on the hands of a statue on the right side. Choose the Gamma Orb from your panel and place it in the Obelisk to reflect the light.
- Adding the Gamma Orb to Obelisk may bring two pedestals out from the ground holding several button sets.
- The Pedestal on the right side has three buttons; meanwhile, the Pedestal on the left side has five buttons and five lights.
- To solve Pedestal Puzzle, tap the right-side Pedestal and the button with one dot. See the Stone Slab to discover a shape, and go to the Pedestal on the left side to tap the same button.
- Now, tap the button with two dots, see what shape appears on the slab, and tap the same button on the second Pedestal.
- Similarly, you must tap a button with three dots + one dot, then two dots and three dots. And last, you have to tap all three buttons to solve the puzzle.
- Once you solve the puzzle, a secret area on the right side will open and let you collect Abacus Instructions. You must select the Dead Battery and put it on the charger to get a Recharged Battery.
- Get the Gamma Orb out of the Obelisk and go downstairs and put the Gamma Orb in the Obelisk to get a clue in the pond (4, 3, 4, 2, 2). Then, go downstairs to reach the third room. Select the battery and put it back where from you got it.
- Your goal is to solve the following puzzle pieces: 4, 3, 4, 2, and 2. The door opens and lets you play a maze-like mini-game where you must struggle to escape the Adventure Escape Mysteries: The Squire’s Tale Chapter 3.
