• Step into the bustling street to begin your journey and explore the surroundings. Collect a stick of candied fruit from the rack, which looks delicious and may come in handy later.
• Retrieve the matches that are hanging from the lantern, as they will be useful for lighting fires. Melt the candied fruit in the pan next to the sugar painting stall to obtain a bag of hawthorns and a bamboo skewer, perfect for future tasks.
• Add sugar from the jar to the pan to create more syrup, then use this syrup to craft a beautiful sugar painting.
• Tap the sugar painting table to begin the process of making a sugar painting, showcasing your artistic skills.
• Use the bamboo skewer to hold the dragon candy securely as you prepare to display it. Stick the dragon candy on the lantern that has the missing zodiac sign to complete the set.
• Obtain the invitation and the embroidered shoebox from the palanquin, which contain important clues and items.
• Tap the invitation and examine the back carefully for hidden clues that will aid your progress. Collect the fortune pendant hanging on the road sign, adding it to your collection of useful items.

• Place the mask on the rice dumpling merchant, transforming their appearance and unlocking new interactions.
• Place the bag of hawthorns into the mortar at the rice dumpling stall for the masked merchant to grind up, then tap to collect the hawthorn pits.
• Use the hawthorn pits at the slingshot stand next to the temple to shoot and obtain a candle. Strike the gong four times to return to early night, changing the time to progress further.
• Go to the kite stall and use the scissors to cut some kite string, which will be needed for the next steps.
• Strike the gong two times to return to the late evening, adjusting the time once more. Place the candle inside the lantern to prepare it for lighting.

• Strike the gong next to the temple four times to return to early night, once again adjusting the time. Give the red string to the puppet on the stage to receive a puppet bride, an essential item.
• Hang the puppet bride on the correct lantern to solve the riddle and obtain a tarnished newspaper.
• Use the clues on the back of the invitation and tarnished newspaper to input the correct password into the palanquin makeup box, unlocking the final mystery.
