AEM: Vanishing Act Walkthrough – Chapter 3
We were in a Club for solving tricky puzzles; now, we’ve been stuck 20 years back to Kate’s Childhood. Both characters are on walkie-talkies discussing their rabbit. Welcome back to Kate’s Childhood, almost 20 years back, when you discover both characters are using a walkie-talkie to discuss a pet rabbit, Lola. Here, your ultimate goal is to search for hidden objects and play mini-games to reach the end.
- Start your journey by interacting with the gnome on the right side and making it aside to get a key from the spot.
- You may discover Kate’s journal near the tree, which you must read and search for a photo on the last page. Before leaving the space, inspect the tree for etching – R and N (Rachel and Norman).
- Select the key from your panel and use it to open the garage door. Go inside and start your search for finding hidden objects.
Inspect the Garage
- When you are in the garage, you aim to pick up Wooden Planks from the trolley on the right side and search for a carrier; later, tap the drawer to make it open and obtain a Yellow Wrench.
- Afterward, go to the cabinet and open its door to discover the green wrench. Next, tap the wrench stand on the wall where two wrenches are missing.
- Put both wrenches on the stand and arrange them in a sequence like Blue, White, Black, Green, Red, Yellow, and Pink. Next, obtain the key from the spot, and before leaving the site, notice the number of wrenches (7).
- Choose the key from your inventory and start the lawn mower to get it aside. Open the toolbox to get the handle and open the zoom view on the locker. To figure out the passcode, you have to use the wrenches’ colors and their numbers.
- So, head to the locker and enter the passcode (4964) to open it for nails and pulley handle.
- Discover a pulley near the door’s left side where you must attach the handle and crank it to drop the canoe — inspect the backpack on the crank to get some bunny treats.
- A new challenge will start wherein you must repair the canoe by placing the planks and then using the nails. Use the hammer to fix the planks and drag the canoe outside to complete further objectives.
- Choose the carrier from your panel, put it next to the rabbit, and put some treats inside to attract the rabbit. Once it gets inside, close the door and obtain the carrier.
- Put the rabbit in the boat and go across the river to discover another scene for exploration.
- A new puzzle will start, and Kate needs your help to overcome the Rapids Puzzle. It is achievable using arrow keys.
New Location
- Finally, you reach a new location where Allie, Kate’s friend, needs her help to learn a magic trick. For that, search for the fishing rod on the boat and grab gloves from the same spot.
- Please search for the signboard covered with ivy and use your gloves to remove it.
- Examine the board to count the following items: trees, bears, and fish. Afterward, head to the tree house and tap the symbols as many times as you find them on the board, like six trees, three bears, and four fish.
- When Kate’s friend opens the door, enter the house and start your investigation to find hidden items.
- After the talk ends, see the to-do list and examine the house to find hidden items.
- Tap the cabinet storage on the right side to discover a stereo and grab the binoculars and balloons from the left side.
- See through the window to find a cloth kite and grab it using the fishing rod from your panel.
- Afterward, select the binoculars from your panel and discover particular shapes and numbers printed on the building. After examining, you will obtain the following: Triangle 2, Square 9, Diamond 8, and Circle 5.
- Hit the back button and tap the cabinet near the door to open the zoom view. Enter the passcode 8295 to open it and collect the screwdriver and a blanket.
- Use the screwdriver to open the back of the stereo and obtain two batteries.
- Next, use both batteries in the Balloon Machine and start inflating balloons.
- Select balloons from your panel and give them to Allie in return for a trunk key. Leave the tree house and find a trunk to open using the key. Examine the trunk to obtain the blacklight bulb and a cloth cape from there.
- Now, tap the pulley to open the zoom view and attach the cloth. Another piece of cloth that may be available inside the treehouse is still missing.
- After selecting it from your panel, please return to the tree house and put the bulb in the holder. Grab the banner from behind Kate’s friend and leave the treehouse.
- Attach the banner with the cloth, select the rabbit, and attach it with the rope. Once you complete the step, Allie will return her banner and cape and take them to her treehouse.
- Now, enter the treehouse to enjoy Allie’s magic show, but before, don’t forget to close the curtains and turn the light on.
- As the magic show ends, you will see Kate open the window and the rabbit escape. See through the window and start playing a mini-game wherein you must chase the rabbit down by helping Kate understand the map.
