Survival is very difficult in the frozen wastelands of Whiteout Survival. To make your survival journey easy to some extent, you need heroes and the best of them. Selecting the right heroes is essential to survive in the blizzard and establish your village. You’ll be investing most of your time and resources in your heroes. In this Whiteout Survival guide, you’ll learn everything about heroes, such as their tiers, strengths, and weaknesses. Every hero is different in Whiteout Survival, so you can’t master the game quickly.
Whiteout Survival Tiers
There is a total of five hero tiers in Whiteout Survival. Here are more details about these tiers and what they have to offer. For Arena and exploration, you should use Sergey, Natalia, Patrick, Bahiti, and Molly. Most of these heroes are epic heroes. For raids and wilderness, fill your team with as many legendary heroes as you can. If you are a pro player, Add Bahiti, Natalia, and Molly to your team. Your team will contain heroes of all types.
- S-Tier – This tier features the most powerful heroes of the game. You should try to unlock these heroes in the first place.
- A-Tier – These heroes are also very powerful, but they lack some features. They should be the backup plan if you have no or fewer S-tier heroes.
- B-Tier – B-tier heroes also work well, and they are easier to get compared to A-tier heroes.
- C-Tier – This tier features heroes that are suitable for the beginner stages of the game only. They fall into the bad category of heroes.
- D-Tier – Heroes of this tier are worth nothing. They mostly underperform in all situations and are used only at the start of the game when players don’t have any other options.
S-Tier Heroes
If you have any S-tier heroes in the bag, upgrade them in the first place, as they can be used from the start to the end. Their stats and skills are pretty good. Here are the best S-tier heroes.
- Molly – Molly is a legendary lancer who uses her snowball skills to deal good damage over a wide area. Her attacking speed is also increased if her health drops below a certain percentage.
- Natalia – Natalia is a legendary hero from the infantry class who is known for her destructive power. Place her in the front line so she can lead infantry troops in your lineup.
- Jeronimo – When it comes to damage dealing and class, Jeronimo is quite similar to Natalia. He can deal damage to several enemies at the same time. Place him in the frontline, as he can only deal damage to enemies in close proximity.
- Bahiti-– Bahiti can deal a lot of damage to enemies thanks to his long-range attacks. He comes with various skills to become a legendary ranged hero. His defense isn’t very good, so place him in the back and protect him with a powerful tank hero.
A-Tier Heroes
Compared to S-tier heroes, these heroes have fewer stats, but they can still get the job done. Here are some A-tier heroes to look for.
- Jessie – Jesse is a tank hero who can make up for Sergey, although her damage intake isn’t that great. She can also deal a good amount of damage to enemies. She has five different skills, and you need to unlock them all to take the most out of her.
- Sergey – Sergey is another tank in Whiteout Survival who can take damage and protect his team. Place Sergey in the front of your army for additional protection and better damage.
- Patrick – Patrick is a healer who helps your heroes stay on the battlefield for more time by reviving their health. He needs protection, so place him behind a tank.
- Gina – Gina is a jack-of-all type of hero who comes with five different skills. When you are out hunting, use Gina because of her expedition skill to decrease your stamina usage. She can also increase the marching speed of your party.
B-Tier Heroes
Stats of B-tier are very low, so they are mainly used for resource gathering. Don’t use them in battle, and avoid recruiting them. Don’t upgrade their skills. The last three heroes in this tier list are very important because they will help you gather three of the most essential resources in the game. You’ll need iron, stone, and wood to upgrade buildings and unlock new buildings.
- Zinman – Zinman will help you develop your blizzard village because he has some excellent expedition skills up his sleeves. The first expedition skill will boost the construction speed, while the second skill will reduce the resource cost by fifteen percent. Although his effectiveness in combat isn’t great, you can still use him in battles.
- Cloris – Cloris can lead ranged units in battles and deal damage per second to them. She is also known for her gathering skills. With Cloris, your income from hunting parties will be increased to a great extent.
- Eugene – Eugene is an infantry class hero who will help you a lot in gathering wood from the game map. He has many expedition skills. His first skill will boost up your income from wood. His second skill will help you gather a lot of wood in no time so you can upgrade buildings fast.
- Smith – Smith will help you in gathering iron ore from the map to craft new items. Unlock Smith in the first place, as you’ll need a lot of iron in the game. His skills can increase income from mining as well as increase the iron-gathering speed of your parties.
- Charlie – Charlie is known for his expedition skills, through which you can gather a lot of coal from the map in no time. His skills will boost both the income as well as the gathering by twenty-five percent. He is also effective in starting battles, thanks to his DPS. He deals damage to multiple targets at the same time. To use Charlie to his extent, place him in the front of your lineup.
