Introduction

The long-awaited title, “Strange Case 2: Asylum” by Lebeledman, was successfully released with a new story and various puzzles to complete. It is the sequel to Strange Case, which has almost three chapters to complete. Furthermore, you must use your detective skills to figure out where you have been trapped and search for hidden objects to solve puzzles and find the way out. You can’t solve any riddle without being smart because there are identical rooms with hidden objects and challenging mini-games that will blow your mind. You will move across the room using a side-scrolling perspective; meanwhile, interacting with each room helps you get your hand on items that may let you find the way out.

In Strange Case 2: Asylum, you are trapped in a hospital, and your goal is to investigate the mysterious case about the mental hospital. In short, Labeleman introduces a mental hospital setting for your new case that you have to investigate to find the truth. Now, your ultimate goal involves you becoming a true detective and escaping all the traps set on your way to stop you. The game comes with a unique creepy graphics style and atmosphere. All introduced challenging puzzles and unique and original, as they may take time when you are finding their solutions. A well-written Storyline – Strange Case 2: Asylum

As the name implies, Strange Case 2 is set in a mental hospital where you wake up as the doctor appears before you say he lost too much blood and urgently take him to the operating room. The situation isn’t good because the protagonist wakes up in a cold sweat and thinks of having a nightmare. Meanwhile, a sharp pain pierced his body as something went wrong because he had also lost his memory. Now, the protagonist’s ultimate goal is to investigate his own case to figure out the location and discover what has just happened to him.

The game releases with only the first chapter to its core; however, chapters 2 and 3 will release soon. So, you are supposed to play its first chapter and then wait for the release of the next.

Similar to the first title “Strange Case,” the second installment has the same mechanics and gameplay; however, the story, characters, and puzzles are all different. Strange Case 2: Asylum Walkthrough – Chapter 1 (Day 1)

As mentioned above, you woke up in a mental hospital room to figure out the location, find the truth behind the scene, how you reached here, and what happened to you. You start your journey with no memory but the ability to find the truth. At the start, you can figure out three rooms: A patient Bedroom, An Empty Room, and a Toilet. There’s a door in the bedroom where a man appears whenever you tap, with strictly passed instructions by the doctor not to let you go out. So, there’s no way to out seems at the start, but you have to find the solution and explore other areas to find the truth.

• At the start, tap the bed to open the zoom view and click on it again to see what lies under it. Discover a shoe and tap to collect.

• The shoe will be added to a briefcase on the bottom-right corner of your screen, which is your inventory with four options: Examine, Use, Dismantle, and Combine.

• Go to the next room, enter the toilet, and tap the area between the basin and the commode.

• Open your inventory to select the old boot and tap the tile highlighted in the image to remove the dust.

• Afterward, tap the tiles to get a Piece of Broken Tile.

• Go to the first room, use the Tile Piece to get a Piece of Bed Sheet from the spot, and return to the toilet.

• Select the piece of Bed Sheet and put it into the commode.

• Keep tapping the flush button until the water comes out.

• Go back to tap the door in the main door and confirm with the attendant that the toilet is clogged.

• Soon you find yourself ahead of two doors next to each other. As you start to move, a man appears from the second door saying the staff is psycho and will kill all.
• Before leaving the area, tap the board on the second door to read the patient’s name and the case number.

• Afterward, go to the doctor’s room in the next area on the right side, and enter the doctor’s room.

Enter the Doctor Death Room

Go through the door to enter the doctor’s room and examine the area to find the hidden objects and solve tricky puzzles.

• First, tap the drawer set on the right side and open drawer no.2. Enter the passcode (31) to open the file and get the number as follows:
  • 1 – 15
  • 2 – 31
  • 3 – 80
  • 4 – 34
  • 6 – 22
  • 7 – 20
  • 8 – 47
  • 9 – 71

• Tap the first drawer and enter the passcode (15), and for the second drawer, set the code (31).

• For other drawers, dial (3-80, 4-34, 6-22, 7-20, 8-47, and 9-71). Once you set all numbers successfully, drawer no five will open and let you collect a Trinket.

• As you are about to leave the room, the doctor appears and asks why you are there. You must choose the option “I found something here.”

• Next, the doctor will ask you to give a test, wherein you have to solve a jigsaw puzzle three times to get a Nightstand Key.

•  Go to room no.1 and choose “take rest.”

The gameplay is challenging enough that leaving your first room becomes difficult for you because, at the start, for a few minutes, you won’t come to know what to find next after getting a shoe from under the bed.
