Introduction
New York Mysteries 5 is released with a well-written storyline and various challenging puzzles to complete. Assuming a female character, who witnessed how a monster has escaped with unholy plans, seems to be an outstanding experience. Completing puzzles wasn’t challenging; now, adding mini-games takes the difficulty level to the next time. In this part, you must search for 10 Ladder Rungs as they help you climb the main hole and continue your journey to chase the monster.
Citizens are worried and familiar that only you can bring peace back to their land. You must prepare a lamp and visit dark sewerage holes to find clues, including Ladder Rugs. Search for how to reach the second edge and see the doors’ keys. Play mini-games to lead the Ship to the second end. New York Mysteries 5 – Chapter 1 (Part 3) Walkthrough
Choose Burning Lamp from your panel and go through the passageway of the right side to discover the first Ladder Rug near the pipeline; enter the pipeline on the left side to find another Second Ladder Rug after rotating the valve and hit the back button to leave the area.
- Go right and tap the sewerage hole on the left side to get the Third Ladder Rug. Hit the back button and go through the bridge to enter a new location where you must take the right and examine the location to get a handle from the drum and put it on the machine.
- Pull the handle to open the left side door and go there to get the Fourth Ladder Rug. Hit the back button, interact with the handle, and bring it to the right to open the right side door. Enter the sewerage hole to obtain the Fifth Ladder Rug and hit the back button. Go the front way after putting the handle at the center, and enter the sewerage hole to obtain Sixth Ladder Rug. Hit the back button, head to the right-side passageway, and enter the sewerage hole of the right to discover the Seventh Ladder Rug. After that, hit the back button and go straight.
- Head to the right side, tap the sewerage hole on the right and examine the area to discover Eighth Ladder Rug. Go straight to find a gate. Go through the gate and tap the door on the second floor, as shown in the image below. Before tapping the sewerage line, you must examine the right-side area and go to the left-side room to discover the Ninth Ladder Rug; the tenth Ladder Rug is in the right-side room. Then tap the sewerage hole, and you will find yourself on the main line. Now, your objective is to search for 10 Ladder Rungs in the maze to escape.
- We have already collected All the Ladder Rugs; it’s time to put them in the central hole and get out of the sewerage system.
Leave the Sewerage System
You are now out of the sewerage system to find traces of monsters. It seems the monster has made a pathway and landed on another side. Continue your investigation to find clues, solve tricky puzzles, and reach the end.
- Examine the area near the bench to obtain Blades, Ticket, and Reach Extender. Choose a Ticket from your panel and put it into the machine on the left side to play a mini-game.
- To solve the puzzle, you must use your skills and bring the same color to one tube from different bottles. Once you solve the puzzle, a new achievement, “Specialist,” will unlock, and the game offer you a Token.
- Head to the right-side area and pick up a Fishing Rod near the binoculars. Meanwhile, you must insert the token to use the Binoculars to discover the monster that boarded the Ship.
- Afterward, use the Reach Extender to bring Blades out of the water from the left side. Visit the sitting area on the left side to discover Blades and choose the Fishing Rod from your panel to attach a Magnet.
- Hit the back button to get into the Sewerage back, use the Fishing Rod to get a Star out of the water, and return to the surface.
- Tap the yellow-colored boat to open the zoom view, examine it to get Blades, and put them on the boat to reach another location.
- You are in a new location where your objective involves finding hidden objects, solving tricky puzzles, and revealing the monster. First, you must tap the right-side area to obtain a Fishnet and use the Utility Knife to cut the Sack for Wind Roses.
- Use the Fishnet to collect a Tube from the water and make a cut using the Utility Knife for a Key. Tap the shade roof near the Ship, use the Utility Knife to cut, and collect the second key along with Wind Roses.
- Using both keys may help you open the door and lead you to a ruined room where you can easily find the ladder to the Ship.
Find a Way to Open Doors
The new area comes with a mini-game, wherein you must find hidden objects when finding keys to open doors.
- Head to the machine on the left side to obtain a Brush that you must use to clean the area nearby the gate to get a Wind-up Key and a Fin.
- Use the Wind-up Key to open the board for a Magnifying Glass. Tap the fish on the wall to open the zoom view, use the Fin from your panel to attach the fish, and get a Pike Pole and Anchor. Before leaving the area, open the box to get a Notebook and head to the board on the left side to draw something on the Notebook.
- Head to the Grating amidst the area, use the Pike Pole from your panel, and bring a wheel out.
- Tap the door on the right side, choose the glass from your panel, and put it on it. Now, your goal is to solve a puzzle using the Notebook from your panel. Rotate the puzzle pieces to make the same pattern as available in the Notebook.
- Please open the door and go through it to find hidden items. First, you must select the Wheel, put it in the second drawer, and set the anchor on the same drawer.
- Examine the drawer to get a keycard and put it on the machine to open the door and enter the Ship.
New Task – Get on the Ship
- Going through the door may lead you to the Engine Room. Head to the board on the right side to discover an Eagle Figurine using the Utility Knife and tap the back button three times.
- Tap the sitting area on the left side, select the Star and Eagle Figurines from your panel, and put them on the top for a Hex Key Set.
- Enter the Ship’s Pilot Room, use the Hex Key Set to open a box for Wind Rose, and head to the briefcase on the floor. Set all Wind roses to open the suitcase and get a Tranquilizer Gun and Clue.
- Head to the screen on the left side, and use the clue to solve a puzzle by tapping particular buttons as follows: Pink (2x), Green, Yellow (3x), Orange (2x), Dark Blue (4x), Blue (1x), and Purple (3x).
- When the screen turns on, you must lead the Ship to the exit point and open the door.
