In New York Mysteries 4, you start your journey from a makeup room of any studio. Your objective is to search for hidden objects and utilize them to solve puzzles. New York Mysteries 4 – First Task (Go Outside) Walkthrough

Your first task is to “Go Outside,” as it seems you have been trapped in a house, and your goal is to discover the way out.

• First off, tap the dressing table and open the second drawer to get a key after getting objects aside.

• Tap the third drawer to discover pliers and pick them up from the spot. Hit the back button and tap the table amidst the room holding a music box covered with a cloth.

• Discover a ring from above the table and keep it in your inventory.

• Remove the cloth to discover a music box and tap the room divider to find a closet behind it.

• Head to the closet and use the key to unlock it. Open both doors to discover clothes and keep them aside to get a hanger.

• Select the hanger from the inventory and use the plier to obtain a Thin Tube.
• Now, head to the door and use the tube to crack the lock and escape the room.

As you come out, you will find yourself in an amusement park full of rides, amazing things, and beautiful places to visit. Your first task, “Go Outside,” was completed.

Explore the Park

Now, you are out of the makeup room. Start finding hidden objects and utilize them to solve tricky puzzles.

• At the start, you have to tap the passageway to the ride and discover a coat behind the briefcase. Click on the coat’s pocket to obtain one mask, while you have to gather five masks, and don’t forget to get a Game Piece.

• Tap the area’s right side to discover a lake and click the papers on the right side to find a magnet.

• The second objective, “Help the Stranger” will get unlocked as you reach the lake.

Task 2 – Help the Stranger

• Click the duck in the water, remove the fabric from the purse, and discover a Crochet and a flashlight.

• Tap the bridge on the left side, and select the crochet to bring a mask out from under the plank.

• Hit the back button and tap the broken horse ride on the floor. Select the magnet from the inventory to get a key and add it to your inventory.

• There’s a room on the right side, and you can get into the room using the key you recently collected.

Enter the Room

Use the key from the inventory to open the door and go through it to reach the room, where you discover a typewriter and a cap.

• Tap the cap to move it aside and discover a Game Piece. Now, click on the closet to run a mini-game, wherein your goal is to bring the silver ball to the green spot.

• As the closet opens, pick up a hook-and-loop from there and add it to your inventory.

• Next, leave the room for a while and head to the left side to discover the parking area.

Parking Area

Tap the left side to discover a new scene, where you will find a vehicle parked at the scene. Firstly, you have to tap the vehicle’s door and get into it to discover hidden objects.

• Pull the red-colored handle to open the car trunk and collect the Game Piece from the driving seat. Before leaving it, don’t forget to open the sun visor and get the third Game Piece and a code (413).

• Tap the passageway on the right side and discover a Game Piece on the floor.

• Explore the trunk to discover a Wrench and hit the back button to reach the park.

Return to the Park

• Tap the briefcase and enter the code (413) to open it for car keys.

• After that, head to the car, insert the key and start the engine. Go back to the trunk and tap the box, where you have to place all five Game Pieces to start a mini-game.

• Your goal is to set the game pieces on the board and drag them to their respective places of the same color. You have to complete the puzzle two times, and as the game opens the last part, pick up the handle and add it to your inventory.

• Head to the exit door and tap the box on its left side. Select the wrench to open up all bolts and get a Screwdriver from the spot.

• Before leaving the box, don’t forget to tap the red button.

Return to Makeup Room

• Go back to the makeup room and tap the music box after selecting the screwdriver from the inventory.
• Use the screwdriver to open all screws and obtain a battery from inside the box.

• Now, select the torch from the inventory and replace the battery.

Go to the Lake Side

Now, leave the room for a while, going through the doorway and tap the right-side area to discover a lake.

• Tap the duck on the water, select the Hook-and-Loop and fix it on the duck’s head.
• Soon, the duck may take you to a new scene where finding a few hidden objects is your ultimate job.

Find Hidden Objects

After reaching a new scene, you have to search for a set of hidden objects already given at the bottom of your screen. Recognize the item and search for it to solve the puzzle at the scene.

• First off, pick up a torch from the ground and use it to search the bag on the right side to discover other items.

• Select the torch and tap the circuit box to discover gloves.

• Open the circuit box to repair wires, but before don’t forget to pick up the power breaker from above the board.
• Fix the power breaker, pull it down, select the gloves, and tap the broken wires to connect them.
• To solve the puzzle, you have to connect two wires of the same color, and once you solve the puzzle, the electricity will be restored.
