Detective: Escape Room Games, developed by Escape Adventure Games, introduces a set of chapters with a well-written plot and spooky murder cases. Like other Murder Mystery Games, there’s nothing the same as they seem; therefore, you should reveal your detective skills, work on your puzzle-solving abilities, and learn how to solve mini-games before jumping into action. It has a beautiful blend of Adventure, Puzzle, Hidden Objects, and Detective game elements, and the blend is designed to give you a thrilling gameplay experience. Currently, only four chapters are unlocked to play and complete, while other chapters are in development and will be released soon.
The introduced locations are good and may put your detective skills to the test; meanwhile, you may face several challenges, including mini-games. Finding solutions to mini-games is a must as sometimes, they reveal a hint, or sometimes, they may highlight a clue. Therefore, you must be prepared to confront anything. Similar to Adventure Escape Mysteries, Detective Escape Room Games doesn’t feature any in-game introduction system to let you know how the game works or how to find items; in short, the hint system can be used for a limited time. Detective Escape Room Games Walkthrough Chapter 4 – Cat and Mouse
Are you ready to examine the basement to continue your investigation? You are invited to interrogate the spooky murder cases and find the criminal mind behind all these cases. Like previous levels, several locations have been introduced, each with a unique setting. Completing Detective Escape Room Game Levels won’t be easy; therefore, we jump in to help you get rid of all puzzles.
- Hit the cotton packages behind the table to open the zoom view, get boxes aside to reveal a locker, and input the passcode (447) to open the trapdoor.
- Go through the trapdoor to jump into the basement and tap the front area to discover a deceased. Examine the body to discover clues and hidden items, including a Cable from the plate, RAMs from the cup, a small bulb, and a tweezer from the floor. Examine the deceased to discover a musical note from her pocket.
- Hit the back button to zoom out the scene, and click on the right side in the front area to discover a machine.
- Behind the machine, there’s a wolf figure available that you must obtain and keep in your inventory for later use. Before leaving the machine, tap the note stuck in the screen at the top and read to figure out the clue.
- Now, take a step back, tap the wall on the left side to reveal Roman numbers on bricks, and try to solve the puzzle by tapping the tile “IV” twice and tile “I” three times. It will open a trapdoor on the left side and clear the pathway to go to the next area for navigation.
Go through the Passageway on the Left Side
- Tap the drum covered with an iron chain and use the cutter to remove it from the spot. Afterward, tap the weight machine to open the zoom view and obtain a bottle from there. Now, start playing a mini-game with the goal of setting the maximum weight by merely dragging the bottles onto the bowls; meanwhile, your goal is to set equality between bowls.
- Finding the solution to the puzzle will open up a drum on the floor to give you a Key and a Notepad.
- Go close to the treasure chest you are opening after removing the iron chain, use the key to open the chest, and obtain a hard drive. Select the bottle from your panel and pour the liquid into the small box to open it for collecting another key and a screwdriver, along with a music note.
- Tap the passageway on the right side to leave the room and head to the door on the right side. Use the key to open it and go through to discover a new area to find hidden items in Detective Escape Room Games Chapter 4.
Enter the Right-Side Room
After getting into the room, start your investigation to find clues and search for items to solve the murder mystery.
- At the start, you must inspect the book on the floor to discover a passcode, pick up the first part of the music note, and then move on toward the vault on the left side.
- Enter the passcode (571265) to open the vault and obtain and get a Piano Piece. Now, go to the room on the left side, tap the box you recently opened, and discover an electronic piano.
- Add the missing key and use all parts of the music notes to solve the piano puzzle; meanwhile, you must play the music following notes.
- Once you solve the puzzle, the part of a wall will move to reveal a vault. Tap the vault to open the zoom view, use the screwdriver to remove all screws, and try to solve another puzzle with the objective of connecting wires following the diagram.
- After unlocking the vault, obtain a Key and a Beer Figurine. Leave the left side of the room and enter the right side, where you discover four pillars.
- Head to your panel to choose figurines and put them on their corresponding pillars, as shown in the image given below. Soon, a box on the left side will open and let you collect a Fan and an Axe.
- There’s another box on the right side that you must break using the axe and obtain another Cable.
- Leave the room, tap the area on the right side from the front to open the zoom view on the machine, and use the key to open its circuit box.
- Choose the Central Processor from your panel and put it on the board, connect the fan, and add RAM sticks along with a hard drive.
- Afterward, attach connectors (cables) and hit the green button to run the machine. Now, you require a four-digit passcode to open the screen, while you have four alphabets (YDCL) as a clue.
- Go to the deceased location, read the test written on the wall, and give them numbers from start to end. Afterward, it matches the alphabets written on the machine to get a code. Now, the passcode you obtain is (1847). Enter the passcode to run the machine and pull the handle to open the door next to it.
Enter the Room
Going through the doorway, you will enter a newly opened room where you may discover a coffin, along with other objects, such as tables, broken ladders, and more.
- Head to the table to drop the jar full of nails and obtain three keys from the spot.
- Inspect the file of Andrew Simmons available on the table on the right side and collect the information you need
- Use all three keys to open three locks on the coffin, and the last lock needs to be cracked using the tweezer already available in your panel.
- Use the tweezer to crack the lock by merely moving it using your finger and tapping when the green light turns on above the lock prong.
- Examine the coffin to discover a plug and head to your inventory, where you must combine the Headlight and the Bulb to bring it into a working position.
- Tap the wall on the front side to open the zoom view and use the headlight to reveal a particular section. Tap the left side area to reveal the puzzle and make another puzzle on the front wall to start playing a mini-game wherein you must drag and connect wires in a way that the sum matches the numbers on the left side.
- Finding the solution to the puzzle will open a section holding a key that you need to open the electrical panel on the left side.
- Put the spark plug into the board, and you will see something how things go wrong, as a poisonous gas will release from the vent to trick you.
