After the successful release of Ghost Cast, Haunted Laia, The Girl in the Window, and many other games, Dark Dome has introduced a new title “Beyond the Room” coming to Google Play and App Store soon. The developers are famous for introducing escape games with amazing mystery and suspense stories. Every title is set in a unique Hidden Town, revolving around a well-written plot. Furthermore, the cast of all the games is fabulous and the music is just awesome.
The hidden town spans several sections and sometimes occurs in a house where you can move using arrows. Usually, the developer uses arrows on both sides of your screen to let you move between areas using a point-and-click interface. Similarly, an inventory is placed at the bottom of your screen to hold items you discover during the gameplay. Besides, the inventory has four options: Combine, Examine, Use, and Dismantle. A Building Abandoned for Six Years
As I said, Dark Dome is famous for releasing thrilling escape games, and our favorite is Escape from the Shadows and Another Shadow. Let’s go back to the story, revolving around a building in a haunted town where it has been abandoned for six years.
Usually, people in the real world don’t want to live in abandoned buildings because they consider them a house of creepy creatures or due to their dark past. Similarly, in this building, no one is eager to inhabit it because of its past as several stories of rituals, murders, and witchcraft are floating across the town. However, no one knows the truth. Do you dare to go there and find out the secrets?
Introduction to Darien
The story follows the protagonist, Darien who wishes to go there for investigation and reveal the truth because he feels curiosity about getting and navigating the building; however, as the protagonist tries to go close to the building, he starts having nightmares. The days pass, and then suddenly one day, Darien receives some signals from the fifth floor in the form of mysterious silhouettes appearing in the window as the light flickers on and off. At that moment, Darien assumes someone needs his help; so, he decides to go there for further investigation. No one knows whether it’s a good idea to go there alone.
Eighth Entry in the Dark Dome Escape Game Series
It is the eighth installment in the series of Dark Dome famous for releasing Escape games for mobile devices. Beyond the Room comes an opportunity to let you embark on a journey fully loaded with puzzles and riddles. It is an interactive Adventure where you try to investigate a building of spirits. Since the game isn’t limited to any particular order, you can gradually use any order to reveal Hidden Town’s mystery. This game has a strong connection with the Nowhere House and it may open a new storyline for the town.

Instead of distributing puzzles in rooms, Dark Dome prefers to introduce the story on floors where you must move on to explore areas, rescue the trapped girl, and unravel the plot. How to Play the Beyond the Room?
Because of the friendly user interface, playing Beyond the Room is pretty easy, and also because of the familiar controls we experienced in all of its sister games. You only need to tap the objects on your screen to open the zoom view and interact with them. Search for hidden items and combine them with new ones to create something you need to solve puzzles. Pay attention to your surroundings to find which object is helpful in your quest to proceed through the story.

Beyond the Room Walkthrough Guide
Check the cupboard located next to the door and take the wheel stored inside. Unroll the rolled paper that is on the table and carefully study the drawings on it, committing them to memory.
- Move to the room on the right and take a close look at the collection of cactuses. Arrange the objects in the second room to match the drawings you saw on the paper.
- Once you have correctly positioned the items, a hidden compartment will automatically open up. From the secret compartment, take the large cracker and the large cork that are inside. Open the door to the right and step through into the next area.
- Offer the cracker you found to the bird, and it will tell you the sequence it saw: moon – star – eye – heart.
- Examine the portrait closely and tap it to observe and remember the eye movement sequence: Left – right – left – right – left – left – right.
- Return to the first room and enter these symbols into the lock on the other cupboard door.
- Take the brick and the key from inside the newly unlocked cupboard. Use the key to open the door on the left and go inside the room beyond.
- Look under the cover on the bed to find a paper, then read and note the items listed: Yellow dress, purple tree, pink cloud, green fence, blue hair.
- Attach the wheel to the safe box and input the sequence of arrows matching the eye movements on the portrait: left – right – left – right – left – left – right.
- Take the remote control and return to the room where the TV is located. Memorize the symbols displayed on the TV screen.
- Go to the room with the bird and input that pattern on the closet lock. Take the blanket from the closet and go to the holes in the wall.
- Place the cork, the brick, and the blanket into the free holes to prevent the hand from escaping, allowing you to retrieve the glasses.
- Go to the man who is struggling to read and give him the glasses. He will read something aloud to you; remember the specific time mentioned: 34:85. Go to the room with the doll and look at the digital clock on the table.
- Enter the numbers you remembered to wake the doll. Examine the armchair where the doll was sitting and take the paintbrush from it.
- Return to the first room and use the paintbrush to color the painting according to the instructions on the note. Take the key from the doll’s hand and use it to unlock the last closed door directly ahead.
- You will wake up and decide to venture inside the abandoned building. Open the door labeled number 1 and go through it.
- Count the bones depicted in each painting here: 8 – 3 – 5 – 4. Proceed to the next room and examine the cupboard on the left side.
- Input the code you have and take the rubber snake and the shovel from inside. In the open drawer next to the console, you will find a fingerprint scanner.
- Open the door directly ahead and go outside into the garden. Look at the bucket on the shelf and take note of the hint about the lights.
- The drawing on the tree will help you solve an internal puzzle, so remember the Xs marked on it.
- Return inside and examine the boat on the shelf next to the door. There is a box on the boat; press the boards marked with Xs.
- Take the map and the hook from inside the box. Move to the room on the right and check the open drawers under the electric panel.
- Take the book about trains from the middle drawer and the toy train from the bottom drawer.
- Go back outside to the garden and use the hook on the swing. Use the shovel to dig a hole where the boy is pointing.
- Look inside the hole and take the railroad switcher. Scare the bird with the rubber snake to make it fly away.
- Take the hint and the key from the bird’s nest. Use the hint to unlock the drawer under the electric panel. Take the token from inside once the drawer is open.
- Use the key to open the electric panel and gain access to its controls.
- Refer to the note and use the lightbulbs from the lamp in this room to activate the correct lights:
- Down – left – down – left – down
- Down – left – down – right – down
- Down – right – down – left – down
- Down – right – down – down
- Plug in the arcade machine and use the token to power it on. Play the game by catching all the apples to reveal the code: 5736.
- Locate the box on the opposite wall and enter that code to obtain the plastic container. Go to the room with the electric panel and place the plastic container over the spider on the desk to examine the files there.
- Memorize the red symbols on each file and use the fingerprint scanner to identify the correct symbol for each file.
- Use the identified symbols to unlock the red box on the shelf by entering them in the correct order.
- Proceed to the next section, referred to as the Abandoned Building Electric Panel Red Box in the Room Walkthrough.
- Take the ship wheel and the hammer from the red box. Attach the wheel to the boat and turn it to reveal a set of symbols.
- Move to the garden and input those symbols into the box on the table. Retrieve the rail tracks and go to the toy train inside. Place the toy train on the tracks and pull the red lever to change the rails.
- Move to the right side, put the tracks in your inventory, and pull this lever as well. Go down and use the hammer to break the large rock that is blocking the rail.
- Pull the lever to direct the tracks through the tunnel and use the lever from your inventory to switch the rails to the bottom path. Move to the left side and pull the lever to guide the tracks through this tunnel as well.
- Go back up and start the toy train by pressing the red button. Pay close attention so that when the toy train reaches the starting point, you quickly pull the lever to direct it to the station.
- The toy train will display four symbols that you need to remember for the lock on the box on the table. Take the key and head to the 2nd floor to unlock the door there.
- Use the key to enter and explore the room on the 2nd floor.
- Open the window above the cupboard and go outside. Check the flower on the right side and take one blue petal. Go up the stairs and take the cord from the top.
- Go back inside and take the note from inside the white cupboard. Proceed through the gray door in front, which leads to the bathroom.
- Unroll the toilet paper and take the cardboard with the hint. Now go back and enter the room to the right, which contains the cat.
- Continue to the right, moving to the last room on this floor.
- Search through the drawers and take the key and the fan blades.
- Look at the portraits on the wall and remember the symbols they are making with their hands when you tap on them: square – triangle – X – circle.
- Return to the red box under the cat and enter those symbols. Take the bubble wand and the glass from the red box.
- Check out the Ouija board and place the glass on top; it will move on its own. Memorize the four symbols the glass stops on. Go to the bathroom and input those symbols.
- Take the memory card and the cat food from the bathroom. Go to the last room where the camera is located and insert the memory card.
- Play the video and remember the direction the shadow exits:
- Up – Left – Up – Down – Right – Left.
- Go to the red box and press the arrows in the same pattern. Take the key and the soap from the red box.
- Use the key to unlock the balcony door and step outside. Arrange the clothespins as indicated on the white note:
- Top line: 3 left – 5 right
- Middle line: 1 left – 7 right
- Bottom line: 6 left – 2 right.
- Take a raven feather from the raven on the balcony.
