Adventure Escape Mysteries: Vanishing Act – Chapter 4 Walkthrough
After marking the third chapter as completed, we are heading toward the cabin of Kate and Allie’s grandparents. Upon reaching, drop a message to see where she is and start exploring the scenes to find her on your own.
- Head to the Car on the right side, open the door and hit the button featured on the left side of the steering wheel to unlock the dashboard’s drawer for a flashlight.
- Between both seats, open the compartment to get a Bobby Pin and keep it in your inventory for later use.
- Leave the Car, go close to the door, and use the Bobby Pin to unlock the door. Head to the cabin and get into it to search for other items.
- After getting it, you will find yourself in the dark, so start using a flashlight after choosing from your panel and inspect the fireplace to obtain a Poker and get a lighter from the table.
- Go outside the house, tap the door, and use Poker to open the trash bin for hedge clippers and hatchet.
- Choose hedge clippers from your inventory and use them on shrubs; use the hatchet to get firewood.
- Get into the house, place firewood in the fireplace, and use a lighter to set fire.
- Start your investigation to find hidden items and discover clues. Start your struggle by paying attention to the door near the fireplace and reading letters on the table to find clues. Meanwhile, open the photo album to see pictures.
- After closing the album, exchange some dialogues and head to the fuse box where you discover a puzzle. To solve it, you have to rearrange tiles by merely creating a path from the green circuit to the one available on the right side.
- After that electricity is restored, you should get into the house and talk to Allie for further information. During the discussion, Allie reveals she has robbed two guys, Elias and Charlie.
- Now, search Allie’s bag on the stool near the exit door to discover the object, and you will get Murphy’s ID, Allie’s Key, and an hour clock. Before leaving your spot, notice a missing handle, and you can’t open the drawer. You must find a key to open the drawer because it holds a laptop charger.
- Select a key from your inventory and open the door near the fireplace. Go through the door, go upstairs, and reach the Attic.
Inspect the Attic
There’s a box at the bottom of your screen to discover a drawer knob and a minute hand. Obtain the clock minute hand from the table and go downstairs.
- Make a click on Allie’s bag, select and use the knob to open the drawer, and obtain a knob.
- Go upstairs to the Attic, use the wheel on the old trolley, and use it to move the cupboard away from the window. Afterward, use Poker to remove hurdles from the window and open it to see outside.
- Select the car key and use it to turn on the headlights. It will make a clock-type shape on the box. Meanwhile, you will see Allie move somewhere for privacy.
- Go downstairs, discover a clock on the wall above the fireplace, place all three clock hands, and set the time (8:3:10). The clock opens to let you obtain Allie’s Journal from inside.
- After reading the journal, you may know that Allie continuously lies to Kate and is in contact with Charlie.
- Soon, Allie enters the room and asks you to hide in a hurry somewhere in an attic. Go close to the window to see what’s happening outside. You will be shocked to see that Charlie and Elias are there to take Allie forcefully because she lost Murphy’s ID. You must reveal yourself to save Allie before it’s too late.
- Leave the house instantly, use Allie’s Keys to unlock the Car, and obtain the laptop and step ladder from inside. Return to the Attic, charge the computer, and search for the passcode following a hint: “Magic Quest High Score.”
- Put the step ladder down, and climb it up to get a treehouse box. Open the box to obtain the objects like the game controller and the backlight bulb.
- Discover the bulb holder on the ceiling, and replace the bulb to spread glowing lights all around the room. Soon, you will notice two arrows pointing to the sleeping bag. You must remove the bag from the spot, along with a plank to discover a box.
- Select Allie’s Journal from your inventory and search it for clues available on its four pages. Upon inspecting, you will discover the first page has a bear, the second page has a wizard and a cat, the third page comes with a rabbit, cat, and bear, and the fourth page has a fish and a deer.
- Now you must find clues around the room that work with the shapes you discovered in the journal.
- Go close to the box and insert all four shapes to unlock it for the cabinet key and a game cartridge.
- Next, go downstairs, unlock the cabinet storage using the key, and obtain the game console. Go upstairs and attach the gaming console to the TV. Select and add the game controller, along with the Game Cartridge, and try to play the Magic Quest.
- To complete the mini-game, you have to lead the witch to the end to win. During the game, you must help the witch to get the massive key and unlock the door. When playing the game, you should keep in mind that the witch can carry one item at a time.
- Next, try to compete with Kate on the leaderboard by merely tapping the screen.
- Leave the Attic, go to the room, and tap the laptop to open the zoom view where you must enter the high score (16850), and it’s the passcode you need to unlock the computer. Next, read texts and emails of Allie.
